I have studied, boxing, military combative, and judo. I took a 20 yr break where I would train off and on in different various styles and techniques here and there. Then about 2011 my kids took up tkd, so I joined in with them cross training in all the MMA gym I was in had to offer. In mid 2013 switched chidokwon karate. Where I am am now

So in all I have roughly over 15 yrs of actual training in MAs 30 yrs of life living in bad neighborhoods and limited combat experience. The last decade has been blissful small town life. I unfortunately have to travel with my job, and still end up in bad places.

I still train in any technique regardless of style that peaks my interest

comment Are there legal ramifications to being a trained martial artist?
@sadrdathrion. Hearsay? If you are referring to the state trooper I will rephrase he is also the state trooper that arrested the individual who swung the bat at me. The only reason I was not arrested was the 2 witness that verified the fact I did it in self defense.
