Thank you all for visiting my profile. (As long as you hand no sinister purposes in doing so.)

Whats so bad about this question? Why the down votes? (I'm just wondering, not trying to sound annoyed.)

Its about timing and practice, keep practicing. Sometimes kick earlier, some times later. Whatever timing works use. By the way, the choreography in that movie isn't up to par with the rest of Hong Kongs movies. :)

comment What is the proper technique for holding a Century-style body shield for use in Taekwondo?
It depends on what type and brand. For the large Tae Kwon Do pads, you hold them touching you body with one hand on each hand hold, lower palm facing towards you, and upper palm facing away from you. The real importing part is to keep the pad close.

comment What exercises help to develop frontal leg speed?
Speed has little to do with strength, its about not wasting time. I have no strength, yet I'm very fast, fast to the point that I can win spars just because I can get a kick in and run away while opponents charge. You calked about not making unnecessary move. +1

comment Bad boxing club or wrong idea of the sport?
Christ! In my sparing group, once someone is even slightly hurt, we pause the spar, ask them if they can continue, and if they can then we continue sparing. The worst thats happend while I've been at the group was a jammed foot (unfortunately I was the victim).

comment What are the differences between ITF and WTF Tae-Kwondo?
The scoring in ITF is also different from WTF. In ITF, punching is emphasized more and kicks are for "finishing moves," while WTF is all about kicks.

comment Is Static Stretching Before Practice Beneficial, Harmful, or Something In-between?
Note that the stretches are static but we do a 10 min running warm up before stretching.
