I am a Java Programmer. I am learning Java (to become more and more advanced), JME/J2ME, C++, C#.net and VB.net.
I never down vote for questions. If I see any down vote for a question, I will definitely give an up vote for it. The reason is, I believe every one has the right to ask what he/she doesn't know. There are not "Dumb" questions. No one has the right to take someone down, just because he/she asked a question.

Was Goju-ryu developed specifically for use by the Japanese navy? I know this reply is after a long time, but, I agree with your last sentence. Close combat, specially when not enough room |

Was Goju-ryu developed specifically for use by the Japanese navy? I don't trust wikipedia on this Because my master is from one of best karate universities in Japan, and he is a very known student of the Grand master.. And my question is about the original history, why goju is born. Apart from that even though these 2 styles are some what same, there main deference is 50-50. Which means goju player only give the full power to arms/legs only when the opponent is about to get hit. But shotokan player is always with 100% power, which make them tired easier compared to goju. |
