comment What methods are effective for increasing co-ordination on dual handed techniques?
You are right. Anyway, I read your answer again and it is actually very good. I only commented the coordination part in my previous comment.

Good answer, but perhaps you should add how to think of it as one stick: just realize that when one stick hits, the other goes backward, and then focus on this "scissor" move. It is much easier to focus on this than to think about each hand separately. Helped me in the "heaven and earth" drill.

I don't think this answer is of any use for double stick. The question was how to coordinate both hands at once, which is best answered by Trevoke.

comment Does Krav Maga have any roots of Aikido?
@Matt, I see your point, but how can you describe 5 min video full of techniques? That would take few hours to describe, thousands of words, and who would ever read it? I'm afraid there's no way to answer this question but to watch the video.

comment What characteristics should I look for in a sensei?
I don't agree to any of your points in "Martial Science" block. Many great masters would not pass this. Watch Karate Kid to get an example :) (BTW, martial art is not a science.)

comment kicked in the sternum - tips on healing, time frame? any lingering danger?
+1 for "It will take substantially less time to heal if you just let it heal.". To finish your rhyme: but it is not what the op wants to hear :-)

comment What's the real difference between Ikkyo omote and Nikkyo omote?
our sensei and other instructors also told us that ikkyo and nikkyo are different directions. I never understood this. They started with ikkyo omote and told us that there are 4 directions to continue to: ikkyo, nikyo, sankyo (towards the opponent), and to 4th was jonkyo ?? Don't remember. I never really understood this - and so for me personally it temporarily fell to the category of "esoteric crap"... as @tacone mentioned :)

Great answer! Expressive, not cluttered with thousand words, going straigt to the problem!
