Sep 5, 2012 at 12:19 comment added Dave Newton @RobinAshe It's a mix of everything, not always clear which comes from what. Some of it is definitely silat, some is definitely BJJ, some is Filipino. In terms of percentages, anything I guess would probably be wildly incorrect.

Sep 5, 2012 at 0:43 comment added Dave Newton @KeithNicholas The FMAs I practice includes a lot of ground work, but that's obviously style-dependent. Plus much of it is Inosanto or Canete, which isn't typical. Agreed, though, mixing it up is almost always more effective.
Sep 4, 2012 at 5:11 comment added Keith Nicholas I was going to suggest the this, the ground stuff is not really that good, though Arnis guys won't say that, but if you marry it with jiujitsu, it makes for a great combo.
